Android Architect

Job Summary:
As a Software Architect, you will design and develop sophisticated system architectures for Android-based infotainment platforms. Your role will involve harmonizing the functionality between the user-friendly Android applications and the robust Linux-based systems that support them.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Architectural Design:

• Lead the design and architecture of Android-based infotainment solutions that provide cutting-edge user experiences.
• Ensure smooth integration of Android and Linux components within the system architecture.
• Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable and maintainable architecture solutions.

1. Technical Leadership:

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams focusing on Android software and Linux system development.
• Keep abreast of the latest technologies and methodologies in Android and Linux ecosystems.
• Drive innovations by exploring new technologies and methodologies to enhance product performance and user experience.

1. Development and Integration:

• Oversee the implementation of Android platform features, ensuring high performance and UX.
• Collaborate with Linux development teams to enhance platform reliability and scalability.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Over 5 years of experience in software architecture with a focus on Android development.
• Strong expertise in designing and integrating Linux-based systems.
• Deep understanding of automotive infotainment technologies and ecosystems.
• Experience with communication and connectivity protocols (e.g., Bluetooth, Wi-Fi).
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to work under dynamic conditions.
• Excellent communication skills, enabling collaboration with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Prior experience in the automotive technology industry is a strong advantage.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Agile/Scrum project management methodologies.
• Familiarity with automotive communication protocols such as CAN bus or MOST.
• Knowledge of embedded systems and automotive hardware design.
