Position Overview

The Lead Design at Mahati Industries is responsible for developing and implementing innovative design strategies that align with business objectives, enhance brand identity, and drive user engagement.

Experience

• Minimum of 12 years of experience in electrical design of transformers.
• Proven track record of developing and executing successful design strategies.
• Familiarity with design thinking methodologies and user-centered design principles.

Qualifications Bachelors/Masters Electrical Engineering

Responsibilities

• Develop and communicate the overall design vision and strategy for Mahati Industries.
• Oversee all design projects, ensuring high-quality execution and alignment with brand guidelines and business goals.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., Product, Marketing, Engineering) to integrate design thinking into the product development process.
• Establish and maintain design standards, processes, and best practices.
• Conduct user research and gather feedback to inform design decisions.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging design technologies.
• Manage design budgets and resources effectively.
• Present design concepts and solutions to stakeholders at various levels.

• Technical Proficiency:
• Solid understanding of design tools and technologies.
• Experience in design and analytical skills of transformers at least of up to 220 kV and above large furnace transformers and Locomotive 2 phase transformers
• Should have analytical capabilities for estimating the losses, forces, stray and Eddy losses, etc.
• Experience and conversant with using of design simulation software like VIT, Comsol, Ansys is added advantage.
