Job Description
- Conduct topographic, boundary, and construction surveys using advanced surveying equipment and techniques.
- Prepare and maintain accurate survey records, including field notes, sketches, and digital data.
- Analyze survey data and prepare detailed reports, maps, and charts for project planning and design.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure accurate interpretation and implementation of survey data.
- Provide guidance and supervision to surveying technicians and field crews.
- Assist in the development of surveying procedures, protocols, and standards to ensure consistency and quality.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, codes, and safety standards.
- Diploma or Bachelor s Degree in Civil Engineering (Dip/B-Tech).
- Minimum 5 to 10 years of experience in land surveying or related field.
- Proficiency in operating surveying instruments such as total stations, GPS receivers, and laser levels.
- Strong knowledge of surveying techniques, principles, and practices.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, GIS software, and other relevant tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Valid driver s license and willingness to travel to project sites as required.
