AM / DM/ Manger - CAE (Sheet Metal Forming Simulation)

• B. Tech/ M. Tech in Tool & Die making from DITE(TRTC), CITD, CTTC, etc. or Mechanical/Production Engg.
• Postgraduate Diploma in Tool and Die making (For Die/CAE)

Job Role

• Forming Simulation (CAE) of sheet metal parts
• Independently handling Simulation (CAE) of Automobiles outer panels ( Door, Fender, Roof/sun-roof, Side Body Outer), Class A- inner panels ( Door Inners, Hood Inner), or High tensile parts
• Co-ordinating with R&D (or customer) for incorporation of all feedback
• Able to prepare Die Planning sheet / Process Plan
• Good know-how of press die design and panel transfer in crossbar and transfer presses.
• Sketch checking and feedback

Job responsibilities:

• CAE (Forming simulation):
• Capability to do CAE for BIW (Skin panels, inner panels & high tensile parts)
• Spring back Analysis and its countermeasures
• Checking manufacturing feasibility of sheet metal parts
• Foresee the panel defects & able to give suggestions in the CAE stage

Technical/ Functional Skills:

• Knowledge of software - UG NX, Autoform, Pamstamp, etc.
• Understanding of Die Trials & Panel Proving
• Basic knowledge of Yield improvement techniques
• Knowledge of press die design
• Knowledge of deformation control in skin parts
• Experience in OEM is preferred
