Audio Software Engineer - C++ Programming (5-6 yrs)

Job Description :

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance audio processing software using C++.

- Implement and optimize audio input/output functionalities on various platforms, boards, and SoCs. This includes working with interfaces like Azalia, Soundwire, I2S, and others.

- Ensure the audio applications achieve high performance and ultra-low latency requirements.

- Support the seamless integration of audio solutions into various target platforms and products.

- Leverage your understanding of Linux Kernel and operating system internals to develop robust audio drivers and system-level components.

- Actively participate in the post-silicon validation cycle, debugging and optimizing audio solutions on new hardware.

- Diagnose and resolve complex audio-related issues, performing code optimization for efficiency and reliability.

- Work closely with hardware design, firmware, software application teams, and quality assurance to ensure end-to-end audio functionality and quality.

- Create and maintain technical documentation for audio architectures, designs, and implementations.

Required Skills & Experience :

- Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in C++ development for embedded systems or audio related applications.

- Expert-level proficiency in C++ programming.

- Strong understanding of Linux Kernel internals, device drivers, and overall operating system architecture.

- Proven experience in I/O execution and development on various platforms, boards, or SoCs.

- Hands-on experience with audio I/O interfaces such as Azalia (HD Audio), Soundwire, I2S (Inter-IC Sound),

or similar digital audio interfaces.

- Familiarity and experience with the post-silicon validation cycle for hardware and software integration.

- Strong analytical and debugging skills to troubleshoot complex hardware/software interactions.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a cross-functional environment.
