Role Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Leader with strong domain expertise in Ayurveda product development, marketing, or business operations. The ideal candidate should have held leadership or senior roles in a reputed Ayurvedic or wellness brand and should be excited to build a brand from the ground up in a fast-moving digital-first environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Strategy & P&L Ownership for the Ayurveda vertical
- Product & R&D Coordination: Work with internal and external teams to finalize formulations, certifications, and testing of Ayurvedic products
- Marketing & Go-To-Market (GTM): Shape positioning, packaging, and performance marketing strategies (online + offline)
- Team Building: Hire and manage a cross-functional team across product, R&D, sales, and marketing
- Compliance & Certification: Ensure all regulatory approvals (AYUSH, FSSAI, etc.)
- Vendor & Manufacturing Partnerships: Oversee third-party manufacturing, quality control, and supply chain
- Drive Digital Growth via D2C, marketplaces, influencers, and community-based marketing
Requirements:
- 8-15 years of experience in senior roles across Ayurvedic / Herbal / Wellness / FMCG domains
- Experience in one or more areas: Product development, R&D, Business Operations, or Brand Marketing
- Prior experience in launching Ayurvedic or natural wellness products in Indian and/or international markets
- Excellent cross-functional leadership & communication skills
- Deep understanding of consumer behavior in the Ayurvedic and wellness space
- Exposure to D2C and eCommerce models is a plus
