Manager

The Security Engineer is responsible for executing the enterprise-wide strategy to identify, design, develop, implement, and support endpoint specific security solutions within the MetLife environment. This hands-on position requires strong collaboration skills to work with cross functional teams to ensure the design of technology solutions complies with MetLife s information security policies, and regulatory obligations. The candidate will have the ability to identify, document, recommend, security safeguards and configurations in a highly complex environment. Must have the ability to recognize, and appropriately incorporate layered security safeguards within the network, cloud, application, and data layers from a defender s perspective.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the implementation, support, and development of data security solutions to enhance MetLife s data security posture.
• Provide tier II engineering and operational support for MetLife s data protection needs. This includes assisting with the implementation and support of emerging data security products.
• Assist with milestone planning, provide operational support, deployment coordination, change management, and documentation of new and existing data security technologies.
• Work effectively with other Information Security teams and outsourcing providers globally to ensure technology security solutions are in alignment with organizational strategic goals.
• Create documentation to ensure appropriate operational process and procedures are followed in the event of business impacting incidents or issues.

Experience:

• 8 plus years of total experience and atleast 6 years as Data protection engineer.
• Experience in :
• Endpoint Data Loss Prevention - such as Mcafee, Symantec, Forcepoint, Digital Guardian
• Network Data Loss Prevention - such as McAfee, Symantec, Forcepoint
• Database Security - such as Guardium, McAfee, DBProtect
• Data Classification - such as Imperva, BoldenJames
• Endpoint Protection Platforms - such as Crowdstrike, CarbonBlack, SentinelOne, Tanium
• Endpoint Application Deployment Platforms - such as SCCM, Tanium, Ivanti

Education:

• MCA, MSc. Computers or Engineering
