Test Manager - Unit/Regression Testing (10-15 yrs)

We are seeking an experienced Test Manager with a strong background in Temenos T24 Core Banking Systems, testing frameworks, and automation tools.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading end-to-end testing efforts across complex integration projects, driving quality assurance strategies, and managing cross-functional QA teams.

The role also includes stakeholder engagement, test planning, risk management, and ensuring alignment with business goals.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies and plans for Temenos T24 implementations and upgrades.

- Lead and manage the full software testing lifecycle unit, system, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing.

- Establish and optimize test frameworks and automation strategies for faster delivery and increased coverage.

- Supervise the creation, execution, and maintenance of automated test scripts and manual test cases.

- Oversee defect management logging, tracking, and coordinating resolution with development teams.

- Ensure effective stakeholder communication, providing regular updates on test progress, risks, and

mitigation plans.

- Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and project managers to understand and validate functional requirements.

- Manage and mentor a team of QA professionals, promoting best practices in test design and execution.

- Drive risk-based testing approaches and champion continuous quality improvement.

- Ensure regulatory compliance and audit readiness in testing processes and documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 10+ years of experience in software testing, with at least 45 years in a Test Manager or QA Lead role.

- Strong domain expertise in Temenos T24 Core Banking system.

- Proven experience with test management tools (e.g., HP ALM, TestRail, Zephyr).

- Proficiency in test automation tools such as Selenium, UFT, Jenkins, or similar.

- In-depth knowledge of integration testing, API testing, and end-to-end functional testing in banking applications.

- Strong understanding of defect lifecycle management, tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla), and tracking practices.

- Excellent understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile, and DevOps practices.

- Experience managing teams, defining QA metrics, and reporting KPIs to senior leadership.

- Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.

Preferred Skills :

- ISTQB or equivalent testing certification.

- Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner) is a plus.

- Familiarity with banking compliance standards and regulatory testing.

- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and cloud environments (AWS, Azure) is desirable
