Entra ID Engineer - iAM Infrastructure (8-10 yrs)

Role : Entra ID (Azure AD) Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Entra ID (formerly Azure AD) Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and management of our identity and access management (IAM) infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Entra ID (Azure AD), Azure AD Connect/Entra ID Connect, and related identity federation technologies.

This role will play a critical part in ensuring secure, scalable, and compliant access to systems and data across the organization.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the administration and optimization of Entra ID (Azure AD) and Azure AD Connect/Entra ID Connect infrastructure.

- Manage user and group provisioning, identity federation, and lifecycle management processes.

- Implement and maintain Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Conditional Access policies, and Privileged Identity/Access Management (PIM/PAM).

- Automate and streamline identity operations using PowerShell scripting and other automation tools.

- Ensure compliance with industry-standard security frameworks and regulatory requirements.

- Collaborate with IT, security, and application teams to integrate Entra ID with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and third-party identity platforms.

- Monitor and troubleshoot synchronization issues and manage incident response related to identity and access control.

- Stay current with evolving identity trends, technologies, and Microsofts roadmap for Entra ID.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 8+ years of experience in identity and access management with a focus on Entra ID (Azure AD).

- Strong hands-on experience with Azure AD Connect/Entra ID Connect, SSO, MFA, Conditional Access, and IAM controls.

- In-depth understanding of identity federation, provisioning/deprovisioning, and identity synchronization strategies.

- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for Entra ID and Microsoft 365 automation and management.

- Knowledge of security best practices, zero-trust architecture, and compliance standards (e.g., ISO, NIST, HIPAA).

- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 administration, Active Directory, and integration with third-party IAM solutions.

- Strong communication and documentation skills.

Nice to Have :

- Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate or Enterprise Administrator Expert.

- Experience with Azure B2B/B2C, Identity Governance, and Hybrid identity architecture.

- Exposure to DevSecOps and integration of identity systems into CI/CD pipelines
