Automation Test Engineer - Software Quality Assurance (4-6 yrs)

Job Summary :

We are urgently hiring for QA Automation Engineers with a strong background in Python-based test automation and database testing. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in automation frameworks, SQL queries, and exposure to Generative AI concepts.
You will be working closely with development and data teams at our client location in Hyderabad.

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Python.

- Perform data validation and SQL-based testing across complex datasets.

- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand

requirements.

- Report, track, and document defects and enhancements.

- Participate in requirement reviews, design reviews, and other QA activities.

- Ensure high-quality releases in fast-paced environments.

Must-Have Skills :

- 4+ years of overall QA experience.

- Strong hands-on experience in Python for test automation.

- Experience with SQL and database testing (writing queries, validating data).

- Exposure to Generative AI concepts and tools.

- Experience in developing, maintaining, and executing automated test scripts.

- Solid understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.

Preferred Skills :

- Familiarity with pytest, unittest, or similar Python testing frameworks.

- Experience testing RESTful APIs.

- Knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI.

- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.) is a plus.

- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
