Artefact Photographer 3D

• As a 3D Artefact Photographer Intern at the Museum of Art and Photography (MAP), you will play a crucial role in capturing and transforming artefacts into high-quality 3D assets
• This internship offers a unique opportunity to develop your skills in both indoor and outdoor artefact photography, equipment handling, lighting setup, and 3D image processing
• You will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of production and quality control

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Set up the studio withappropriate lighting for both indoor and outdoor artefact photoshoots
• Identify suitable locations and equipment for capturing artefacts
• Position and configure the camera correctly for capturing artefacts
• Employ creative techniques to capture artefacts, emphasising their details and reflections
• Utilise photogrammetry software tools to batch process 2D images into 3Dassets
• Follow the software workflow to complete the necessary steps for 3D model reconstruction
• Clean up, optimise, and prepare photo-scanned models for real-time deployment
• Create3Danimatedmodelsasneeded
• Maintainandcarefor cameras, tripods, and other equipment
• Producework of the highest quality in line with professional standards

Requirements

• Basicunderstanding of Agisoft software (3D stitching software)
• Familiarity with Blender software
• Passionfor photography
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, depending on the project or task
• Strongcritical thinking skills and attention to detail
• Basic knowledge of MSOffice(Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
