NBBL- Devops Engineer

Job Summary

The DevOps engineer will be responsible for the smooth operation of IT infrastructure in Bharat Bill Pay applications. They work with developers to deploy and manage code changes, and with operations to ensure that systems are up and running smoothly. To be successful in this role, a DevOps engineer must have a deep understanding of both development and operations processes, as well as a strong technical background. Should be an individual contributor, should have ability to excel with the team. Should be quick learner.

Key Responsibilities

• Implementing various development, testing, automation tools, and IT infrastructure
• Implement and Improve CI/CD pipeline
• Implement and improve monitoring and alerting
• Automating services, tools, and infrastructure requirement
• Defining and setting development, test, release, update, and support processes for DevOps operation
• Troubleshooting techniques and fixing the code bugs
• Building automated processes
• Identifying and deploying cybersecurity measures by continuously performing vulnerability assessment and risk management
• Incidence management and root cause analysis
• Coordination and communication within the team
• Mentoring and guiding the team members

Skills Required

• Excellent experience with Jenkins, both as CI and CD tool
• Experience in setting up and managing Prometheus and Grafana
• Experience in setting up Elasticsearch, Kibana, Beats and Logstash
• Hands-on experience in creating Dashboards in Grafana and Kibana
• Knowledge of SQL (DML and DDL)
• Ability to Debug and fix Production Bug
• Good understanding of networking concepts
• Good at scripting and system administration in linux/ubuntu environment
• Good written and oral communication
• Experience with VM and Containers (Kubernetes, Docker) is a plus
• Experience such as Ansible, Chef, Puppet, or similar is a plus
• Experience coding with Core Java and knowledge of Advance Java is a plus
• Strong Knowledge on Spring Boot is a plus
