Quantity Surveyor Cum Planning engineer

Role & responsibilities

We are an emerging construction contracting company with projects across Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Karnataka. We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Planning Engineer cum Quantity Surveyor (QS) to join our team in Hyderabad!

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, maintain, and manage project schedules and timelines.

Perform detailed quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and control budgets.

Collaborate with site teams to monitor project progress, ensuring alignment with schedules.

Analyze and mitigate risks to ensure project completion within time and cost parameters.

Study new tenders and prepare bids, including all supporting documents.

Prepare and review project documentation and reports.

Assist and remind management about procurement needs to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.

Qualifications & Skills:

Experience: Minimum 5 years in planning and quantity surveying in the construction industry.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, Excel, and at least one planning tool (e.g., Primavera, MS Project).

Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze project data and provide actionable insights.

Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.

Tendering Expertise: Experience in preparing tender bids and ensuring all necessary documentation is in place.

Procurement: Knowledge of procurement processes and the ability to coordinate with management to ensure timely procurement.

Flexibility: Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
