Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced MuleSoft QA Lead to spearhead our QA efforts for API and integration projects. This role involves leading a team of QA engineers, designing testing strategies for MuleSoft applications, and ensuring high-quality delivery across enterprise integration solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in MuleSoft, API testing, and test automation, along with excellent leadership and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the QA strategy, planning, and execution for MuleSoft integration and API projects.

- Define test processes, standards, and best practices across the QA team.

- Oversee test case design, test data management, defect tracking, and reporting.

- Coordinate and manage a team of QA engineers (onshore/offshore) and assign tasks based on project priorities.

- Drive automation initiatives for regression and API testing using tools like Postman, REST Assured, or similar.

- Work closely with developers, business analysts, product owners, and DevOps to ensure seamless integration and delivery.

- Review API specifications and MuleSoft flows to design comprehensive test coverage.

- Ensure timely execution of all QA deliverables including test plans, scripts, execution, and reporting.

- Identify, communicate, and manage risks and issues related to testing and quality.

- Participate in sprint planning and Agile ceremonies, ensuring QA tasks are estimated and prioritized effectively.

Required Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

- 6+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, including 2+ years in a leadership or senior QA role.

- 2+ years of experience specifically testing MuleSoft APIs and integrations.

- Strong experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, SoapUI, ReadyAPI).

- Hands-on experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, including API Designer, API Manager, and Runtime Manager.

- Experience in building and maintaining test automation frameworks for APIs.

- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and tools like Jenkins, GitHub, or Azure DevOps.

- Strong understanding of REST, JSON/XML, OAuth2, and integration architecture.

Preferred Qualifications :

- QA certifications (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE) and/or MuleSoft certifications (e.g., MuleSoft Certified Developer).

- Experience with performance and load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, BlazeMeter).

- Exposure to cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerized applications (Docker/Kubernetes).

- Previous experience working in a hybrid or multi-cloud API ecosystem.
