DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

l Perform microbiological testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products

l Prepare and maintain culture media, reagents, and other laboratory supplies

l Identify microorganisms through various methods such as staining, biochemical tests, and molecular techniques

l Record, analyze, and interpret test results accurately

l Maintain accurate and detailed records of all tests conducted

l Ensure compliance with established laboratory protocols and safety guidelines

l Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment to ensure accuracy

l Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or issues in test results

Microbiological Analyst Qualifications & Skills

• Experience in conducting microbial assays and identification tests
• Understanding of regulatory requirements related to microbiological testing
• Experience in microbiological testing and analysis
• Proficiency in aseptic techniques and microbial identification methods
• Strong analytical and observational skills
• Knowledge of laboratory safety and regulatory guidelines
• Competence in using laboratory equipment and instruments
• Basic computer skills, including familiarity with MS Office
• Ability to maintain detailed and precise records
• Good organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
