Senior Quality Assurance Engineer - Java/Selenium (2-4 yrs)

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to join our quality assurance team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing and executing test plans, identifying and documenting bugs, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products. As a Senior QA Engineer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the standards of our software applications and leading QA initiatives.

Responsibilities :

- Developing test automation solutions for applications across different platforms.

- Adhere to existing standards; provide suggestions to improve and set new standards and identify test automation scope and priorities.

- Closely work with Scrum Teams, QA Leads, and QA Managers and share the Daily and Weekly Status Reports.

- Estimating, prioritizing, planning, and coordinating quality testing activities.

- Demonstrated ability to anticipate how contributions can affect larger architecture.

- Developing risk mitigation and contingency plans.

- Demonstrated excellent communication skills with technical and non-technical.

- Excellent Understanding of Quality Assurance life cycle, methodologies, and best practices.

- Excellent knowledge of test case management and bug tracking systems such as JIRA or any other tools.

- Self-motivated, independent thinker with excellent troubleshooting skills.

- Working closely with development teams, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and delivery of quality products.

- Creating and maintaining a robust test architecture that supports scalable and reliable testing practices.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with 3+ years as a full-time.

- Hands-on experience in Software Quality Assurance (Manual and Automation)

- Hands-on experience with Selenium automation using Java or Python.

- Hands-on experience with Appium automation and with one or more querying languages such as SQL and No SQL databases.

- Working knowledge of tools and technologies like Jenkins, GIT, Maven, TestNG, JIRA, and Any Bug Tracking tools.

- Well-versed with approaches like BDD, Keyword Driven, Data Driven, and hybrid-driven test automation.

- Experience in transforming manual test cases into automated test cases.

- Experience in test documentation, defect analysis, tracking, and reporting.

- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.

- Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus.

- Displays excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Knowledge of API Testing (Postman and RestAssure)

- Knowledge of Accessibility Compliance Testing - Web Vulnerability Testing.

- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
