Key responsibilities:
- Engage with clients to understand their datacenter requirements and challenges.
- Design customized datacenter solutions that align with client needs and objectives.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop compelling proposals and pitches for clients.
- Lead discussions and presentations to effectively communicate the technical capabilities and business benefits of proposed datacenter solutions.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project implementation.
- Stay updated with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously enhance datacenter solutions.
- Conduct technical assessments and evaluations to ensure the feasibility and optimal performance of proposed solutions.
- Provide guidance and support to the sales team in addressing technical queries and concerns from clients.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with clients to achieve mutually beneficial agreements.
- Contribute to the development of sales strategies and go-to-market plans for datacenter solutions.
- Track and report on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities.
- Participate in industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote datacenter solutions and build industry relationships.
- Ensure compliance with datacenter standards, regulations, and security protocols.
- Provide post-sales support and maintain strong relationships with clients to drive repeat business and referrals.
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in datacenter sales/IAAS
- Demonstrated ability to understand complex technical requirements and translate them into strategic solutions.
- Proficiency in datacenter technologies, infrastructure, networking, and security practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address diverse client needs and challenges.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven track record of driving sales, meeting targets, and building strong client relationships.
- Partnering with OEM in driving sales.
- Experience in negotiating contracts, pricing, and terms to achieve favorable agreements.
- Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- In-depth knowledge of industry best practices, standards, and emerging trends in datacenter solutions.
- Strong project management skills to drive successful solution implementation and client satisfaction.
- Flexibility to travel as needed to engage with clients and participate in industry events.
- Team-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving collective goals and fostering a collaborative work culture.
- Adaptability and resilience to thrive in a rapidly evolving technology and sales landscape.
