NPST - Senior Software Test Engineer/Quality Assurance Engineer - Mobile Automation Testing (6-8 yrs)

NPST has a marquee clientele having 10 Banks and 30+ PAPG and Merchants.

What will you do :

The ideal candidate will have expertise in Mobile App Automation Testing (Android & iOS) using Appium.

The ideal candidate will lead test automation initiatives, manage testing projects, and mentor a team while ensuring high-quality software delivery through robust automation frameworks and best practices.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and Maintain Test Automation Frameworks to optimize testing efficiency.

- Automate Test Cases for mobile applications (Android & iOS) using Appium.

- Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline to support continuous testing.

- Ensure Comprehensive Test Coverage through well-structured automation strategies.

- Perform Manual Testing when necessary to validate edge cases.

- Lead a team of automation engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and training.

- Oversee testing projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business goals.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, product managers, and QA) to improve software quality.

- Manage Test Data and Environments to support various testing scenarios.

- Drive Continuous Improvement by implementing automation best practices and innovative solutions.

- Monitor Post-Release Performance to detect and resolve issues proactively.

- Generate Test Reports and provide insights on testing progress and defect trends.

- Debug and Troubleshoot Automation Failures, ensuring smooth execution.

What are we looking for :

- 6+ years of experience in Mobile App Automation Testing (Android & iOS) using Appium.

- Proven experience in team leadership and project management within a QA or automation team.

- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills to address challenges effectively.

- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.

- Customer-centric mindset with a passion for delivering high-quality applications.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with technical and business teams.

- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps is preferred.

- Knowledge of API testing tools like Postman or REST Assured.

- Familiarity with Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or other automation frameworks.

- Exposure to Agile methodologies and test management tools like JIRA.

Education/Qualification : Bachelors degree in software engineering or computer science.

Experience : 6-8 years.

Industry : IT/Software/BFSI/ Banking /Fintech.

Work arrangement : 5 days working from office.

Location : Noida.
