The Senior Programmer plays a critical role in designing and developing robust business applications to meet internal and client-facing needs
Operating within an Agile development environment, this role involves interpreting customer requirements, proposing scalable solutions, and guiding a team through the software development lifecycle
The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise in application and database development with strong problem-solving capabilities and a collaborative mindset
Experience with screen scraping technologies is an advantage

Design and develop reports using Power BI, translating business needs into visual insights

Develop complex SQL modules for data manipulation, integration, and business logic implementation

Lead task planning and delegation within the team while providing technical guidance to ensure high-quality solutions

Build and maintain web and Windows applications using modern development tools and frameworks

Automate business processes using Python and implement screen scraping solutions for data extraction

Autonomy: Expected to operate with minimal supervision; independently analyze requirements, assign tasks, and deliver reliable solutions

Education
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline

Experience
4+ years in business application development

4+ years of hands-on experience with SQL and relational database design

2+ years of programming experience in Python or C#

2+ years of experience with BI/reporting tools such as Power BI

Familiarity with ETL processes and data integration techniques
