Assistant Operations Manager
Assistant Operations Manager(Facility), Mumbai
Role Overview:
The Site/Operation IC will be responsible for overseeing facility operations, ensuring service excellence, managing resources, and maintaining client satisfaction at assigned sites. The role demands strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and operational expertise to drive efficiency and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Management:
- Lead new site mobilization and ensure smooth transitions.
- Deploy and manage manpower, addressing shortages effectively.
- Monitor attendance, collect inputs, and oversee wage disbursement.
- Maintain on-time, in-full (OTIF) delivery as per SLA/SLC agreements.
- Oversee waste elimination and material supply from stores to sites.
- Ensure standardization of operational processes across sites.
Client & Compliance Management:
- Track client satisfaction, manage complaints, and implement improvements.
- Conduct regular site inspections and performance audits.
- Attend inspections and audits to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Manage crisis situations and special orders efficiently.
- Handle site-level profitability and cost optimization.
- Develop contingency plans (BCP) for sites to ensure uninterrupted operations.
People & Resource Management:
- Coordinate with HR, Finance, Legal, and other departments for smooth site operations.
- Address staff welfare and handle disciplinary issues.
- Plan and execute training programs based on site needs.
- Ensure retention and redeployment of outplaced staff.
- Oversee resource allocation and ensure adequate staffing.
Reporting & Documentation:
- Prepare site assessment reports and performance metrics.
- Maintain MIS-based reporting for senior management.
- Ensure proper documentation, reporting, and escalation of critical issues.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- Educational Qualification: Preferably relevant industry experience.
- Experience: 3-5 years in facility management, or operations.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and crisis management skills.
- Excellent communication and client-handling capabilities.
