Job Description
Job Title: Product Designer
Location: Bangalore, India
About Us:
Job Overview:
As a Product Designer with a focus on zero to one GenAI based products, youll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our next-generation offerings. You will be responsible for designing new products from the ground up, taking them from conceptualization through to launch. Working closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, and marketing, you will turn abstract ideas into tangible, user-centered solutions.
Tools like OpenAI, Perplexity, NotebookLLM are defining the new ways of interaction and we would like to design something in the same league and redefine the way support / sales interactions happen in enterprises and create a scalable GenAI based product which can be used not just for Support/Sales but beyond.
- Lead Design from Concept to Execution: Collaborate with product teams to define the vision, strategy, and design solutions for new, innovative products
- User-Centered Design: Conduct user research, create user personas, and lead UX/UI design efforts to ensure the product delivers an exceptional user experience
- Prototype Development: Develop low- to high-fidelity prototypes that help validate concepts and iterate based on feedback
- Collaborate Across Teams: Partner closely with user research, engineers, product managers, product marketing and other stakeholders to ensure design solutions are technically feasible and aligned with business goals
- Contribute to Product Market Fit: Contribute to rapidly exploring different product offerings and test with various target markets to identify fit
- Solve Complex Problems: Tackle ambiguous design challenges with a strategic, user-first mindset
- Continuous Improvement: Iterate rapidly based on user feedback, testing, and analytics to fine-tune products before launch
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in product design, with a proven track record of designing zero to one product (experience working on new ventures, startups, or new product lines is a big plus)
- Design Skills: Expertise in UX/UI design, wireframing, prototyping, and user research
- Innovative Mindset: Ability to think outside the box, challenge the status quo, and solve complex design problems
- User-Centered Approach: Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and a passion for creating intuitive, seamless experiences
- Collaboration Communication: Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to articulate design decisions, and advocate for the end user
- Advocate Influence: Confidently advocate for the user based on data and constructively challenge senior leadership with well-supported arguments
- Agility: Ability to thrive in fast-paced, startup-like environments where ambiguity is the norm
- Figma (advanced proficiency)
- Any infographics creating tools
- Prototyping tools (Principle, ProtoPie, or similar)
- Basic understanding of HTML/CSS for better collaboration with engineers
- User research and analytics tools (e.g., Maze, Hotjar, Amplitude)
- Experience with AI/ML-powered products
- Understanding of data visualization principles
- Familiarity with design systems and component libraries
- Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG)
