Data Scientist - Predictive Modeling (5-10 yrs)

We are seeking a highly skilled and analytical Data Scientist with 5+ years of experience in building and deploying advanced machine learning models and delivering actionable business insights. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in statistics, machine learning, and data engineering, and the ability to work with large-scale datasets to solve real-world problems.

Key Responsibilities :

- Analyze large datasets to extract meaningful insights and develop predictive and prescriptive models using machine learning algorithms.

- Design, develop, and validate ML models for classification, regression, clustering, and recommendation systems.

- Perform data wrangling, cleaning, transformation, and feature extraction to prepare datasets for modeling.

- Work closely with product, engineering, and business teams to understand problems and translate them into data-driven solutions.

- Create dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to communicate findings clearly and effectively.

- Deploy models into production environments and monitor performance, retraining when necessary.

- Stay current with the latest research in AI/ML and apply cutting-edge techniques to business use cases.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 5+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, or advanced analytics.

- Strong proficiency in Python or R, along with libraries such as scikit-learn, pandas, NumPy, TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.

- Proficiency in SQL and experience with data querying in relational and non-relational databases.

- Experience working with big data platforms (e.g., Spark, Hadoop) is a plus.

- Solid understanding of statistics, probability, and model evaluation techniques.

- Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, Plotly, or Matplotlib/Seaborn.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and MLOps tools (MLflow, Kubeflow).

- Exposure to NLP, deep learning, or time series forecasting.

- Familiarity with Git, Docker, and CI/CD for model deployment.

- Prior experience in domains such as finance, retail, healthcare, or telecom is advantageous.
