Job Description
At OpenText, we are looking at motivated highly passionate Lead Full Stack Developer for OpenText Operations Bridge Manager (OBM), which is part of ITOM BU. The candidate must have the experience, talent, skill set and confidence to work with world-class development team at the OpenText office in Bengaluru, India.
OBM automatically discovers and monitors the IT infrastructure of an enterprise by collecting topology and event data. You can use event data to resolve infrastructure or service issues. Also, use the topology data to check the health and performance of the IT infrastructure. Operations Bridge Manager framework provides you with a single pane of glass to detect, correlate, solve, and prevent problems occurring in networks, systems, and applications.
What the role offers:
- Own the critical modules of core products, design and enhance the product to meet customer and architecture expectations in an ongoing basis.
- Developing an understanding of customer deployment environments & provide the technical implementation and corresponding unit tests
- Independently own and drive the research and implementation of new products and product features with minimal supervision.
- Collaborating with teams with diverse expertise to work
- Provide high quality defect fixes and new features.
- Provide rapid turnaround time for proof-of-concept implementations for feature validations and customer demos
- Ensure timely release of high-quality product patches/hotfixes
- Contribute towards process improvement initiatives.
- Communicate high impact product issues and customer experiences to the development team to improve quality of future product releases
- Review and evaluate designs to ensure long term adaptability and sustainability. Champion processes that ensure very high-quality product releases
- Encourage and contribute to innovation aligned with the business
- Mentoring Junior members
What you need to succeed:
- Experience on software applications design tools and languages such as Angular, JS, Core Java, Spring Boot with strong understanding of UI, UX designing, Object-Oriented programming, design concepts.
- Deep knowledge on Angular 15+, Java Scripts (Angular/React), Data Structures, Algorithms, Design Patterns.
- Hands-on experience in both Angular UI and Backend Java development, Unit Testing (TDD)
- Experience in enterprise product requirements such as security, high scale, multi-tenancy, high availability, supportability etc (Docker, Kubernetes, SAAS).
- Good understanding of version control systems, preferably git-lab and experience with CI/CD tools
- Strong troubleshooting, problem solving and analytical skills with the ability to clearly communicate (both written & verbal) and share solutions with customer handling teams, development engineers, OT Support and customers
- Designing software applications running on multiple platform types. Development and troubleshooting experience with Linux, Windows server operating systems
- Good understanding of the database like Oracle, SQL Server etc..
- Strong teamwork
- Good understanding in AWS or any cloud management infrastructure
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with agile development methods
