Executive Purchase & Planning

Role & responsibilities

1. Local GB local raw materials & Packaging Material in line with the guidelines of Gumbase Purchase (List provided by Lead-Purchase)

a) Local RM PM availability and inventory management.

b) Identify and track the various cost elements of materials procured.

c) Track the price trends of key local vendor inputs.

d) Independently manage supplies for pre-agreed items.

2. General:

a) Timely release of order and delivery schedules, rolling forecasts, etc., to vendors and expedite the same

b) Accurate and organized documentation.

c) Provide industry intelligence.

d) Manage Vendor Relationships

3. MIS:

a) Monthly and Weekly MIS reports in agreed formats

b) Month plan working , upload and RM & PM requirement with SAP help.

4. New Local Supplier development with Quality/ P&T Gumbase.

5. Accomplish all the above while following standard processes.

Ensured timely availability of Local RM PM materials for gum base production.

Timely execution of the purchase orders for the procurement.

Accountable for monitoring of effective procurement of Raw material, Packing materials and Services based on business/production requirements.

Arrange local trial material as per requirements generated by GBC team.

Insight into Food and FMCG industry, procurement of RM/PM.
