Job Description
Perfexio Legal is looking for Junior Paralegal to join our dynamic team and embark on a rewarding career journey
- Assist attorneys and senior paralegals with preparing legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, contracts, and correspondence
- Conduct legal research using online databases, court records, and other resources to support case preparation and analysis
- Organize and maintain legal files, documents, and correspondence in both electronic and hard copy formats, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Coordinate document production and discovery processes, including drafting subpoenas, managing document requests and responses, and preparing deposition summaries
- Assist with case management tasks, such as calendaring deadlines, scheduling meetings and depositions, and coordinating with clients and external parties
- Prepare and file legal documents with courts, administrative agencies, and other regulatory bodies, adhering to applicable rules and procedures
- Assist with trial preparation and support, including preparing trial exhibits, organizing trial binders, and assisting with witness coordination
- Communicate effectively with clients, court personnel, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders to provide updates, gather information, and facilitate case-related activities
- Assist with administrative tasks, such as answering phones, responding to inquiries, and managing attorney calendars and schedules
- Stay current with legal developments, trends, and best practices through continuing education and professional development opportunities
