Position: Construction Lead

Project: Institutional Project

Location: Mumbai

Minimum Experience: >15 years in Campus execution/high rise residential buildings with Strong-vendor/consultant-based management experience.

Essential Qualification: Bachelors in Civil Engineering

Responsibilities:

• Preparation of Project Execution Strategy with logistics & resource planning.
• Control and monitor the civil execution of the project as per the Master Schedule and take corrective measures to rectify deviations, if any to ensure that the set milestones / targets are achieved in alignment with Overall Project Completion Target.
• Conduct daily / weekly / monthly meetings with internal team, consultants, contractors, vendors etc to ensure smooth functioning of site activities, resolve issues, provide approvals / clarity with construction aspects, etc. to ensure that the site progress is not hampered.
• Align internal team, contractors, vendors, agencies for performance against set targets / commitments and monitor performance viz a viz actual achieved to identify gaps and timely solutions / resolutions.
• Attend contract & tender related meetings for providing construction related inputs, setting expectations and deliverables, SOPs, etc and provide feedback in shortlisting contractors, vendors, agencies etc based on committed timelines and expectations.
• Scrutiny and certification of commercial transactions for construction activities, extra claims etc and ensure best deals / rates through value engineering and negotiations to ensure cost and budget control.
• Prepare plan of action and allocate resources in terms of manpower, materials etc. to meet the targeted timelines and milestones, hence ensuring that the project completion is in alignment with the set framework of time and budget.
• Design Co-ordination Meeting to achieve the progress in Terms of Constructability
• Pull Down Meeting to monitor the day to day progress for GFC Drawings.
• Implement highest standards of construction safety & quality at project.
