Financial Controller ( VP or AVP Level)

Job Responsibilities and Key Skills Required:

- Comprehensive Financial Oversight: Possess deep exposure and working knowledge across all key functions of finance, including taxation, audit, treasury management, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance.

- Strategic Financial Leadership: Operate at a senior/team lead level, capable of driving financial initiatives and providing strategic insights to senior management.

- Operational Excellence: Oversee daily financial operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to best practices.

- Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and re-engineer financial processes to enhance productivity, control, and reliability.

- Compliance & Governance: Ensure strict adherence to all statutory, regulatory, and internal compliance requirements.

- Team Leadership & Mentorship: Depending on the organizational structure, this role may involve leading and mentoring finance professionals, fostering a high-performance and collaborative team environment.

- Consulting Mindset: Leverage prior experience in a consulting setup to bring a strategic, problem-solving approach to financial challenges and opportunities.

- Industry Acumen: Preferably possess experience from the service industry or smaller-sized firms, bringing agility and a hands-on approach to financial management.

- Leadership Progression: This role is ideal for someone who is currently one level below a CFO or aspiring for a CFO position as their next career progression.

Education Qualifications: Mandatory to be a Chartered Accountant (CA).

Experience: 11-15 years of post-qualification experience
