🔍 Sourcing & Supplier Management
Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery parameters
Conduct market analysis to discover new vendor options and maintain up-to-date supplier databases .
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure loyalty and responsiveness
Negotiation & Contracting
Negotiate pricing, terms, and service levels to ensure optimal value .
Draft, review, manage, and renew supplier contracts aligned with company policies, legal standards, and performance metrics
Purchase & Inventory Management
Handle end-to-end purchase ordersfrom requisition approval to order placement and delivery confirmation
Monitor inventory levels and forecast demand to prevent shortages or overstock
Cost Control & Budget Management
Set and oversee budgets for procurement; track spending and generate cost-saving strategies
Analyze spend trends and drive efficiencies via bulk buying and supplier consolidation
Risk Management & Compliance
Identify and mitigate risks such as supply disruption, price volatility, regulatory non-compliance, and sustainability issues
Ensure procurement complies with internal policies, legal standards, and ESG requirements (e.g., labour laws, environmental standards) .
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Coordinate with departments like finance, production, operations, legal, and sustainability teamsRole & responsibilities:
