Job Description
We are hiring a Mobile Automation Tester with strong expertise in Appium and Java. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining test automation scripts for Android and iOS platforms in a fast-paced Agile environment.
Responsibilities:
Design and build mobile automation frameworks using Appium and Java
Write, maintain, and execute test scripts for Android and iOS apps
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand features and resolve bugs
Conduct functional, regression, and smoke testing
Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI)
Track and manage defects using tools like JIRA
Recommend and implement improvements to automation processes
Qualifications:
- 2-4 years of mobile automation testing experience
- Strong in Java programming
- Proficient in Appium for Android and iOS testing
- Familiar with TestNG, Maven/Gradle, and Git
- Experience with real devices, emulators, and cloud platforms (e.g., BrowserStack, Sauce Labs)
- Basic understanding of mobile app architecture
- Exposure to REST API testing using Postman or RestAssured (preferred)
