Rakuten - Technical Lead - DevOps (7-12 yrs)

Job Description :

Responsibilities :

- Design, implement, and manage scalable, reliable, and secure infrastructure using Kubernetes, Terraform,

and other modern DevOps tools.

- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth and efficient software delivery.

- Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications.

- Monitor and optimize system performance, reliability, and security.

- Manage and maintain cloud infrastructure on GCP or AWS.

- Implement and manage clustering solutions to ensure high availability and scalability.

- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and application issues.

- Automate repetitive tasks to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices in DevOps and cloud technologies.

- Mentor and guide junior team members to foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Requirements :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Experience in DevOps, with a strong focus on Kubernetes, CI/CD, Terraform, Linux, Networking, and Databases.

- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as GCP or AWS.

- Proven experience in designing and managing scalable and reliable infrastructure.

- Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols.

- Experience with clustering technologies and high availability solutions.

- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or similar.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Certification in Kubernetes, AWS, or GCP.

- Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, etc.

- Knowledge of security best practices and tools.

- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker.
