Job Purpose/Summary :

The software engineer Integration Platforms team is responsible for assisting in the development and maintenance of application interfaces and supporting middleware integration tasks.

This role involves troubleshooting, supporting integration flows, and assisting with application integration using tools like webMethods Middleware.

The professional will also contribute to cloud-based application development and troubleshooting across the complete cloud stack (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS) while collaborating with project managers and technical teams to deliver reliable solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Middleware Integration : Support integration of in-house applications, databases, and systems with third-party applications using tools like webMethods, and Talend.

- Application Interface Development : Assist in developing and maintaining application interfaces to ensure seamless data flow and integration.

- Troubleshooting and Support : Provide troubleshooting and support for middleware-related integration issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business processes.

- Cloud Application Support : Work on the deployment and troubleshooting of cloud-based applications across SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS platforms (e.

- API Management : Assist in the development and management of APIs, including pre-scripting, post-scripting, and integration testing for seamless communication between systems.

- Collaboration and Communication : Collaborate with project managers, IT teams, and other stakeholders to drive an optimized solution within the known constraints and technical requirements.

- Documentation : Ensure that integration-related documentation is maintained accurately, including interface designs, flow diagrams, and operational procedures.

Functional Skills/Competencies :

- Technically strong with hands-on experience in WebMethods ESB, MWS and BPM.

- Exposure in messaging components (Broker, UM) and variety of adapters (MQ, Swift etc.
adapter services) is preferred.

- Good understanding and experience on Code deployment and maintaining the WebMethods environment.

- Exposure to backend development in Oracle database etc.

- Should have experience in understanding the business requirement and translating them into functional specifications, designing and drafting technical design document.

- Ability to independently develop and support the team in delivering the solution adhering to quality standards.

- Ability to coordinate with interface teams and handle the testing phases.

- Understanding on change management process.

- Experience in CICD implementation for WebMethods based applications.

- Successful Build & deployment of deliverable in test/pre-production environment.

- Achieved threshold level of all code quality gates (defined in SonarQube etc.

- Final source code checked-in and baselined in source control system for related code and artifacts.
