Software Engineer - .Net/AngularJS (3-8 yrs)

Overview :

We are seeking a talented and adaptable Software Engineer to join our Innovation Squad within the DIT DATA team. In this dynamic and forward-thinking team, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing cutting-edge solutions using a diverse technology stack. Youll work on both existing and greenfield projects, contributing to the development of robust tools, platforms, and automation systems that support data operations and innovation initiatives across the organization.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, test, and deploy applications using .NET (C#), including both Desktop and Web platforms.

- Develop responsive and dynamic user interfaces using Angular 5.0+, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.

- Implement and consume RESTful APIs for seamless integration with backend services.

- Maintain and enhance Excel-based tools using VBA, ensuring performance and reliability.

- Write high-quality, maintainable, and testable code following best practices and coding standards.

- Use development environments and version control systems such as Visual Studio, TFS, and Git.

- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes where applicable.

- Design, query, and manage databases using SQL Server.

- Work with enterprise messaging systems, particularly IBM MQ, to enable reliable system integrations and asynchronous communication.

Agile & Collaboration :

- Work as part of an Agile/SCRUM team, participating in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.

- Collaborate closely with product owners, business analysts, and other developers to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.

- Contribute to innovation efforts by researching and evaluating new technologies and methodologies for continuous improvement.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 3+ years of experience in software development using .NET (C#) on desktop and/or web platforms.

- Proficiency in Angular (version 5.0 or higher) and TypeScript for front-end development.

- Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks.

- Hands-on experience with VBA for Excel and automation.

- Proficiency in writing SQL queries and working with SQL Server databases.

- Working knowledge of RESTful APIs and modern web service architecture.

- Familiarity with IBM MQ or similar message-oriented middleware platforms.

- Experience using Git, TFS, or similar source control systems.

- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, particularly SCRUM.
