Job Description
Core Responsibilities
- Responsible for driving revenues and growing market share as per targets assigned for the designated cluster
- Hunt for new corporate accounts and farm existing corporate accounts
- Engage and acquire potential customers through direct methods (cold calling, face-to-face meetings) and indirect methods (networking)
- Ensure DSO targets, Gross Margin Profitability, and trading ratio targets are maintained
- Coordinate with Head Office for continuous process improvements to enhance shippers experience on the platform
- A Go-Getter: Highly driven individual who goes the extra mile to set the strategic direction of the business
- Analytical and a Problem Solver: Critical thinker and effective problem solver
- Ownership: Entrepreneurial mindset with accountability
- Adaptable: Able to work in a fast-paced, hyper-growth environment with constantly changing requirements
- A Technology Geek: Passionate about technology and always looking for better ways to build solutions
- A Team Builder: Collaborative, hands-on, and able to work effectively with different teams
- 4 8 years of business experience in sales and/or account management, preferably in the logistics industry
- Good understanding of the freight market and the relationships between truckers, consignors, shippers, and brokers
- Proven ability to manage client relationships effectively
- Experience with a digital freight aggregation platform is preferred
- Strong understanding of local geography, culture, and market characteristics
- Willingness to travel
- Ability to work independently and proactively
