Boiler Operator

Role & responsibilities

• Operate and maintain boilers, monitoring the control systems to ensure consistent and efficient performance.
• Conduct regular maintenance checks and repair work on boilers and related equipment as needed.
• Implement and oversee all safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
• Monitor pressure levels, water levels, and fuel supplies to ensure optimal boiler operation.
• Perform routine inspections of boiler systems, ensuring all components are in good working condition.
• Analyze system malfunctions and perform necessary troubleshooting to resolve issues promptly.
• Record operational data and prepare reports on system performance and status.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team for the continuous improvement of boiler efficiency and reliability.

Preferred candidate profile

• First Class Boiler Certificate (Mandatory skill) to validate proficiency in boiler operations.
• Boiler Operation Certification (Mandatory skill) demonstrating capability in handling boiler systems effectively and safely.
• Control Systems Monitoring (Mandatory skill) for the effective supervision and regulation of heating systems and boiler functions.
• Proficiency in regular maintenance procedures to ensure long-term efficiency and operation of boiler systems.
• Ability to implement safety protocols to safeguard against potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Skilled in troubleshooting boiler malfunctions and diagnosing issues to maintain optimal performance.
• Experience in pressure vessel inspection to evaluate the integrity and safety of boiler components.
• Knowledge of steam systems management for overseeing the efficient generation and distribution of steam.
