Job Overview :

RightData is looking for a highly skilled Senior Python Developer to design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines and microservices for data-driven applications. The role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions for business needs.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, build, and maintain robust and scalable microservices using FastAPI.

- Develop and optimize data pipelines using Python (Pandas, Spark) and orchestration tools like Mage.

- Create APIs and tools for data wrangling, transformation, and lineage tracking.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for RBAC, data catalog search, and integration features.

- Manage cloud infrastructure on AWS and use Kafka for event streaming.

- Work with MongoDB and SQL to optimize schema design and aggregation pipelines.

- Deliver high-quality code using Docker containerization.

- Provide technical guidance, conduct code reviews, and mentor junior developers.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 5+ years in Python development, focusing on backend/data engineering.

- Expertise in FastAPI microservices and managing APIs.

- Hands-on with Pandas, Spark, Kafka, Elasticsearch.

- Experience with AWS cloud services, Docker, orchestration tools.

- Proficiency in MongoDB, SQL, and designing ETL pipelines.

- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.

- Experience in RBAC using OPA Agents.

- Knowledge of data lineage tracking and catalog systems.

- SaaS or AI-powered platform experience is preferred.

- Background in a product-based company is highly desirable.

Education :

B.Tech/MTech/MCA in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
