Job Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled Automation Test Engineer / SDET to join our agile product team. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in building automation frameworks, API testing, and hands-on exposure to Java-based automation tools and CI/CD workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop scalable, reusable automation test suites
  
• Work with Agile teams to ensure product quality through TDD & BDD practices
  
• Perform API and UI automation using tools like Selenium, Cucumber, REST Assured
  
• Collaborate with developers to integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines
  
• Participate in test strategy, planning, and execution
  
• Work in a DevOps-driven environment using modern SDLC practices
  

Must-Have Skills:

• Relavant 5 + years in automation testing and test design
  
• Strong hands-on experience with Selenium, Java, Cucumber, TestNG
  
• Proficient in API testing using Postman and REST Assured
  
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Maven, Git)
  
• Exposure to Agile methodology, Jira, and defect lifecycle management
  
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git/GitHub
  
• Working knowledge of SQL and database validations
  

Good to Have:

• Experience with Cypress or JavaScript-based frameworks
  
• Exposure to Cloud Platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
  
• Understanding of DevSecOps, observability, or performance testing
  
• Knowledge of Spring Boot / Microservices / React is a plus
