Registrar Radiology

Key Responsibilities:

• Image Interpretation:Radiology registrars assist in interpreting various imaging modalities like X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, and ultrasounds. They may provide preliminary reports under the supervision of senior radiologists.
• Patient Care:They ensure proper patient care, comfort, and safety during imaging procedures. This includes preparing patients, positioning them correctly, and monitoring them during procedures.
• Procedure Performance:They may assist in performing various interventional procedures under the supervision of senior radiologists, such as biopsies, angiographies, and fluoroscopic studies.
• Documentation:Maintaining accurate patient records and reports is crucial for the registrar.
• Collaboration:They collaborate with other healthcare professionals to discuss patient cases and determine the most appropriate imaging techniques.
• Teaching and Guidance:They may provide teaching and guidance to junior residents or medical staff.
• Patient Education:They educate patients about imaging procedures and address their concerns.

Other Duties:
