General Purpose :

We are seeking a highly skilled Okta Developer to lead the implementation of Single Sign-On (SSO) from our ServiceNow Customer Portal to 11 external and internal self-service portals. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Okta as an Identity Provider (IdP), strong knowledge of SSO protocols, and a track record of integrating diverse systems with ServiceNow and other SaaS applications.

Required Qualifications :

- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Okta Identity and Access Management, particularly with SSO and federation.

- Strong experience with SSO protocols including SAML 2.0, OIDC, and OAuth 2.0.

- Experience integrating ServiceNow portals with external identity platforms and third-party applications.

- Ability to read and configure SAML assertions and OIDC tokens for various service providers.

- Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills, especially across cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement Okta-based SSO integration from ServiceNows Customer Portal to 11 self-service portals.

- Configure and maintain Okta as the central identity provider, enabling seamless and secure user authentication across portals.

- Collaborate with ServiceNow developers, product teams, and third-party vendors to gather requirements and ensure compatibility with existing authentication flows.

- Establish and test trust relationships between Okta and each service provider, ensuring smooth redirection and login behavior.

- Build custom Okta workflows, policies, and groups to manage user access and provisioning logic as needed.

- Troubleshoot authentication issues, identify root causes, and ensure performance and reliability across all connected systems.

- Create and maintain documentation for each integration, including architecture diagrams, test cases, and support runbooks.

- Ensure compliance with organizational security policies and best practices for identity and access management.
