Scientist reporting To Principal Scientist

Work with the Principal Scientist to identify key areas of product development

Establish methodologies and assays required for product qualification and validation

Create product documentation, validation report and certificate of quality for market release

Work closely with the sales team, give product demo, resolve customer queries and interface with customers as and when required

Manage one or two RAs , and be responsible for their training and day-to-day activities

Demonstrated ability of having developed and/or optimized biochemical and cell-based assays related to specific projects

Demonstrated ability in protein purification and characterization by analytical chromatography, protein immunoprecipitation and detection by western blotting

Experience in mass spectrometry desirable but not essential

Basic molecular biology and cell culture techniques required

Publications demonstrating knowledge and expertise in area of specialization

Experience managing research associates desirable but not required

Good communication and writing skills

PhD in biological science with 4+ years of laboratory experience in academia or industry (preferred)

Knowledge seeking and a passion for developing and working with new technologies

Demonstrated ability to present in scientific conferences and internal meetings
