Job Description

Guest Service & Satisfaction:
- Ensure exceptional service to guests by maintaining a welcoming and professional demeanour.
- Greet guests upon arrival, escort them to their tables, and manage seating arrangements.
- Address guest concerns or complaints promptly and professionally to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Oversee the flow of service to ensure that the kitchen and front-of-house operations are in sync.
Staff Supervision:
- Supervise and coordinate a team of servers, bartenders, and other front-of-house staff during shifts.
- Lead by example, ensuring high service standards are maintained throughout the shift.
- Provide ongoing training, mentorship, and feedback to junior staff.
- Assist in managing staff schedules, timekeeping, and labor costs.
Operational Efficiency:
- Ensure smooth operations by working closely with kitchen staff, hosts, and bartenders.
- Help with inventory checks, ordering supplies, and maintaining cleanliness and organization in the dining areas.
- Oversee the flow of service to maximize table turnover while maintaining quality service.
Event Coordination:
- Coordinate with management on special events, parties, or private bookings.
- Ensure all details are followed through, from setup to execution, ensuring guests needs are met.
Quality Control:
- Monitor the dining area to ensure all safety, cleanliness, and hygiene standards are adhered to.
- Ensure that food and beverage quality meet restaurant standards and address any issues immediately.
Sales & Upselling:
- Promote and upsell menu items, including daily specials, premium drinks, and featured dishes.
- Track sales goals and work to achieve targets for food and beverage sales.
Communication:
- Maintain clear communication with the restaurant management team to report any issues, customer feedback, or supply needs.
- Communicate effectively with guests, answering questions and providing recommendations as necessary.
