NPI Lead Engineer Installation & Service - Bangalore

• Must have 10+ years experience in the wind turbine on Installation & Service
• A technical electromechanical background is preferred. It can be mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or production engineering but skilled worker qualifications will also be considered.
• A good technical understanding of mechanical and electrical installations is a must-have. A good technical understanding of production engineering will be a positive add-on.
• Should have strong knowledge about technical drawings and specification, method statements.
• Ability to understand criticality in installation steps, able to see issues with installations at an early design phase where design is still on paper.
• Experience in the principles, practices, and procedures of failure free product introduction
• Must have knowledge of engineering change management.
• Knowledge of RCA, FMEA will be added advantage.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Engineering representative at wind turbine site
• Work closely with cross-functional teams designers/component owners / SME for New Product Introduction.
• Ensure project readiness in terms of BoM, Work Instruction, Equipment s for Transport, installation, Service.
• Verification of documents (Work instructions, Drawings, Technical specification) needed for operative departments.
• Ability to read CAD / Technical drawings, bill of Materials in SAP.
• Verification of equipment s needed for operative departments (completeness, readiness, availability)
• Prepare & maintain all Non-conformities (NC) via SAP QM module during proto installation / service.
• Lead the investigation of all new products related to NC using various failure management tools like 8D.
• Failure free product introduction into transport, installation, and service
• Failure free introduction of tools and methods for transport, installation, and service
• Prepare and present Dashboard report to all stake holders.
• Strong communication skills and ability to use and present with Power Point / Power BI
• Business travels to other Senvion facilities and suppliers globally.
• Prior experience on wind turbine Installation & Service is a must
