- Staff management: Assistant F&B Managers are responsible for supervising and managing F&B staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and evaluating performance

- Budget management: Assistant F&B Managers assist in managing the F&B budget, including forecasting revenue and expenses, monitoring costs, and implementing cost-saving measure
- Menu planning: They collaborate with chefs and other F&B staff to develop and plan menus, including selecting ingredients, pricing items, and ensuring that menus are up-to-date and aligned with customer preferences
- Inventory management: They assist in managing inventory levels, ordering supplies, and monitoring stock levels to ensure that F&B operations run smoothly
- Compliance: Assistant F&B Managers ensure that F&B operations comply with relevant regulations, such as health and safety regulations, liquor licensing requirements, and food handling and storage regulations
- Administrative tasks: They perform various administrative tasks, such as preparing reports, maintaining databases, and filing paperwork
- Requirements: Strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication and customer service skills are essential for this role
- Candidates should also have experience in budget management, inventory control, and compliance with regulatory requirements
- Proficiency in computer software, such as Microsoft Excel, and knowledge of Point of Sale (POS) systems can also be beneficial
