Job Description
- SAP Yard Logistics Configuration: Configuring the SAP Yard Logistics module to align with the specific needs and processes of an organization's yard and transportation operations
- Implementation: Leading or participating in the implementation of SAP Yard Logistics, including data migration, integration with other SAP modules or external systems, and system testing
- Process Optimization: Collaborating with logistics and supply chain teams to optimize yard processes, such as check-in/check-out procedures, resource allocation, and gate management
- Yard Management: Overseeing and monitoring yard activities, including the tracking of assets (trailers, containers, vehicles) and optimizing their movements within the yard for efficient utilization
- Resource Allocation: Managing the allocation of resources such as yard equipment (e.g., forklifts, cranes) and labor to ensure smooth operations
- Real-Time Visibility: Providing real-time visibility into yard operations through SAP Yard Logistics, allowing stakeholders to track the status and location of assets
