Technical Lead (ESG and Sustainability)

Should have knowledge and experience in:

• Develop and implement the organization's sustainability strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and stakeholder expectations.
• Manage the process of obtaining assurance on sustainability disclosures, ensuring data accuracy and credibility.
• Lead and manage sustainability-related projects, ensuring timely and effective delivery of initiatives.
• Identify areas for improvement in the organization's environmental and social performance, and develop and implement strategies to address them.
• Stay updated on relevant environmental and social regulations, and ensure the organization complies with all applicable laws and standards.
• Ability to conduct assessments and evaluations of environmental principles

Qualifications:

• Education:A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field such as environmental science, sustainability, or related disciplines. Advanced degrees or relevant certifications (e.g., GRI, ESG) are a plus.

• Experience: 6-10 years of experience in sustainability, with a focus on sustainability reporting and assurance within large organizations or consulting firms.

• Skills:Strong project management, stakeholder engagement, data analysis, and communication skills. Experience with sustainability frameworks and reporting standards (GRI, BRSR, CDP) is highly desirable.

• Technical Expertise: Knowledge of GHG accounting, SBTi, and other relevant sustainability topics
