GM/DGM - Operations

Role Overview:

We are looking for a highly experienced and performance-oriented GM / DGM Operations to lead and manage the operations of our 1200-machine garment manufacturing unit. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of apparel production processes especially denim garment manufacturing and possess strong leadership, planning, and execution capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the entire production floor including cutting, stitching, washing, finishing, and packing.
• Ensure production targets, quality standards, and delivery timelines are met without compromising cost efficiency.
• Drive daily production planning and execution aligned with merchandising and supply chain inputs.
• Maintain high standards of productivity, quality (DHU), and efficiency across all departments.
• Monitor and manage factory KPIs including OEE, on-time delivery, order fulfillment, manpower productivity, etc.
• Ensure effective resource allocation, including manpower, machinery, and materials.
• Lead implementation of Lean Manufacturing, IE methods, and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Foster a culture of discipline, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Drive digitalization and system adherence in production tracking and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements, safety protocols, and audit standards (social, quality, buyer audits).
