Senior Software Engineer/Lead - Java/Spring Boot (4-6 yrs)

Position Name : Senior Software Engineer/Technical Lead

Location : Mumbai (Borivali West)

Experience Range : 4 to 6 years

Mandatory Requirements :

- Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, API Gateway, and MySQL Database.

- Experience with microservices development using Spring Boot and Spring Eureka.

- Knowledge of design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.

- Experience in CI/CD, asynchronous transactions, and event-driven patterns.

- Hands-on experience with RDS like MySQL.

- Proficiency in AWS, Azure, or GCP for deployment.

- Understanding of performance tuning and scalability.

- Familiarity with technical design methodologies and CI/CD frameworks.

Roles and Responsibilities :

- Lead a team or individual capabilities for the design, development, solution, and delivery of technical projects.

- Design and develop new products/features, from concept to production, involving design, implementation, validation, and troubleshooting production issues.

- Create technical specifications, and participate in design/code reviews, and architecture reviews.

- Develop and maintain test cases and test plans.

- Work in an Agile environment, adapting to evolving challenges.

- Coordinate with other teams, proactively resolving queries/dependencies.

- Provide timely and proactive updates to stakeholders.

- Oversee the design and development of Java, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, API Gateway, and MySQL Database.

- Ensure a strong focus on quality, scalability, and high performance in microservices development.

- Handle technical design methodologies and CI/CD frameworks.

- Lead efforts in performance tuning and scalability resolution at the server side.

Qualifications and Experience :

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science (BE/BTech/MCA or equivalent).

- A minimum of 4 to 6 years of professional experience in software development and technical leadership.

- Strong technical leadership and problem-solving skills.

- Experience in web UI development using HTML5, CSS, and JS frameworks like Angular/React.

- Familiarity with RDS like MS SQL and NoSQL databases (Mongo, Redis, Elastic).

- Experience in integrating with Python-based APIs and third-party APIs.

- Knowledge of messaging systems such as Flask, RabbitMQ, Celery, etc.

- Proficiency in containerisation technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, Elasticsearch).

- Experience in creating Jenkins CI/CD scripts and Ansible/Terraform deployment.

- Familiarity with DevOps practices.

- Knowledge of PaaS and IaaS service offerings.

- Understanding of Service Mesh Architecture.

- Knowledge of API Gateway in cloud-based applications and infrastructure.
