Job Overview :

We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary AEM Architect with 10+ years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) framework, design patterns, and core Content Management System (CMS) architecture. You will be responsible for designing and implementing robust AEM solutions, leading technical initiatives, and ensuring the delivery of scalable and high-performance AEM applications, particularly within a cloud environment. This role requires strong hands-on development skills, extensive knowledge of AEM components, templates, and integrations, and the ability to work with modern frontend frameworks.

Must-Have Skills :

- Strong knowledge in core Content Management System (CMS) architecture and the full application development life cycle process.

- Strong knowledge in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) framework and design patterns, demonstrating a deep understanding of its core functionalities and best practices.

- Extensive experience in developing and configuring AEM workflows, user roles, and permissions.

- Proven experience with AEM Cloud tools and AEM instances such as Author, Preview, and Publish.

- Strong knowledge in AEM Cloud architecture (specifically AEM as a Cloud Service) to effectively implement components, templates, dialogs, and processes.

- Strong knowledge in building AEM components using Angular Framework or other SPA frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js).

- Extensive knowledge in the architecture and deployment of REST APIs within the AEM system, ensuring seamless integration and data exchange.

- Strong knowledge on developing features using Java (OSGi), Angular, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

Good-to-Have Skills :

- Experience with AEM Dispatcher and Multi-Site Manager (MSM) for caching and multi-site content management.

- Experience with AEM key technology concepts, such as Granite/Sling/OSGi/JCR/Sightly/HTL UI.

- Experience with AEM templates, processes, and application customizations specifically for the Web Content Management (WCM) application.

- Experience in Omnichannel AEM integrations with other applications and creating reusable components for AEM.

- Strong knowledge in Translation design patterns and AEM translation integrations with third parties.

- Experience with Version Control tools (e.g., Git) and CI/CD processes for AEM development and deployment.

- Knowledge in third-party APIs or widgets integrations with AEM.

- Knowledge in AEM CDN configurations and caching strategies.

Responsibilities :

- Architect, design, and lead the technical implementation of complex AEM solutions, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.

- Provide expert guidance on AEM best practices, coding standards, and architectural patterns.

- Lead the development and configuration of AEM components, templates, dialogs, and services.

- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, functional consultants, and frontend developers to translate business requirements into technical designs.

- Oversee and contribute to the development of AEM workflows, user roles, and permissions.

- Design and implement robust API integrations with AEM, ensuring efficient data flow and system interoperability.

- Ensure the successful deployment and maintenance of AEM solutions across different environments (Author, Preview, Publish).

- Troubleshoot complex technical issues within the AEM environment and provide effective resolutions.

- Conduct code reviews and provide technical mentorship to development teams.

- Stay updated with the latest AEM releases, features, and industry trends, especially AEM as a Cloud Service.

- Participate in pre-sales activities, providing technical expertise and solutioning for potential clients.

Preferred Qualifications :

- BS degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent experience.

- Adobe Certified Expert (ACE) - AEM Architect certification is a strong plus.

- Experience in a consulting role focused on AEM.

- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) in addition to AEM Cloud.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
