Job Description :
We are looking for a talented Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer to join our team. If you are passionate about Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) and have solid experience in automation, configuration, and programming, this is the right opportunity for you.
As a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer, you will be responsible for configuring, automating, and developing solutions within the SFMC platform. You will also get an opportunity to expand your skills and work with other cutting-edge marketing tools.
In this role, you'll work on various modules within Salesforce Marketing Cloud, as well as have the opportunity to broaden your expertise in related marketing automation tools and technologies.
Roles & Responsibilities :
Salesforce Marketing Cloud Configuration :
- Work with different Salesforce Marketing Cloud modules such as Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Mobile Studio, and Social Studio.
- Set up and configure SFMC modules to support various marketing processes, ensuring efficient and effective workflows.
- Develop data models and ensure seamless integration with external systems and other Salesforce products.
- Develop and customize solutions for email campaigns, journeys, and automated processes.
Automation and APEX Programming :
- Create, design, and implement automated workflows using Automation Studio and Journey Builder.
- Develop and deploy APEX classes, triggers, and other Salesforce development features to extend the SFMC functionality.
- Implement data-driven automation processes using SFMC tools like SQL Queries, Data Extensions, and Triggered Sends.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient integration of marketing solutions with other platforms.
Campaign Management and Reporting :
- Develop and execute targeted campaigns using Marketing Cloud's features, optimizing them for customer engagement.
- Monitor campaign performance and provide reports on key metrics, making recommendations for improvements.
- Use Marketing Clouds reporting and analytics features to track campaign performance and customer interactions.
Interest in Learning Other Marketing Tools :
- Stay updated on new trends and best practices in marketing automation tools.
- Take an active interest in learning and working with other marketing tools such as Marketo, HubSpot, or Adobe Campaign.
- Integrate Salesforce Marketing Cloud with other platforms and tools in the marketing ecosystem.
Collaboration & Communication :
- Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, sales, and IT, to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
- Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements, define solutions, and ensure alignment between technical solutions and business objectives.
- Provide training and support to internal teams to leverage SFMC tools effectively.
Continuous Improvement :
- Contribute to the ongoing improvement of the team's SFMC knowledge base, coding standards, and best practices.
- Optimize processes and workflows to enhance system efficiency and improve marketing ROI.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues related to Salesforce Marketing Cloud configurations and implementations.
Other Responsibilities :
- Participate in the agile development lifecycle, including sprint planning, design reviews, and code reviews.
- Ensure best practices in security, scalability, and performance are adhered to during development and implementation.
- Assist with the documentation of technical specifications, deployment processes, and troubleshooting procedures.
Skills & Qualifications :
Mandatory Skills :
Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) :
- At least 7-8 years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
- Strong understanding of SFMC modules like Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, and others.
- Expertise in SFMC configuration, especially with automation, triggers, and audience segmentation.
- Proficiency in building and maintaining data extensions, email templates, and automations in SFMC.
- Experience with APEX programming, writing custom APEX classes, and triggers for SFMC customizations.
- Hands-on experience with SFMC API integrations, RESTful APIs, and data synchronization between SFMC and external systems.
Automation :
- Deep experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud automation tools such as Journey Builder and Automation Studio.
- Expertise in designing complex automation flows, customer journeys, and automated email campaigns.
APEX Programming :
- Proficiency in APEX programming language to customize and extend SFMC functionalities.
- Experience with writing APEX classes, triggers, and integrating them with SFMC modules.
Analytical Skills :
- Ability to analyze campaign performance and create insights to improve marketing strategies.
- Experience with SFMC analytics, creating reports, dashboards, and understanding metrics to optimize campaigns.
Collaboration Skills :
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and technical teams.
- Strong communication skills to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Desirable Skills :
Interest in Learning Other Marketing Automation Tools :
- Interest in working with or learning other marketing automation tools such as Marketo, HubSpot, or Adobe Campaign.
- Experience with integrations between SFMC and other marketing tools, including CRM systems.
Experience with APIs :
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and their usage within marketing automation platforms for integrations and data transfers.
Data Skills :
- Strong SQL skills to write complex queries for data extraction, transformation, and reporting within SFMC.
- Knowledge of Data Extensions, Data Filters, and SQL Queries in the context of Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
Salesforce CRM :
- Experience working with Salesforce CRM and understanding of how it integrates with SFMC.
- Familiarity with Salesforces Sales Cloud and Service Cloud modules, and their interaction with Marketing Cloud.
