About the Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IAM Engineer with 810 years of experience to lead and implement Identity and Access Management (IAM) initiatives across the organization. The successful candidate will have deep expertise in Okta, Auth0, and a good foundational understanding of ForgeRock. In this role, you will design, develop, and manage IAM solutions that ensure secure and compliant access across systems, applications, and services.

Key Responsibilities :

IAM Solution Architecture & Implementation :

- Design and implement secure IAM solutions using Okta and Auth0 platforms.

- Lead migrations from legacy IAM systems to modern identity providers such as Okta and

Auth0.

- Design and maintain RBAC (Role-Based Access Control) and ABAC (Attribute-Based Access Control) models across the organization.

Integration & Authentication Standards :

- Implement authentication protocols such as OAuth 2.0, SAML, OpenID Connect, and

integration with LDAP and Active Directory.

- Collaborate with application development teams to integrate IAM capabilities into cloud and

on-premise applications.

Workflow Automation & Customization :

- Build and automate IAM workflows using Okta Workflows, PowerShell, or Node.js.

- Develop custom policies and automation scripts for identity lifecycle management including onboarding, offboarding, access requests, and certification.

PAM (Privileged Access Management) :

- Implement and maintain Privileged Access Management solutions using BeyondTrust Password Safe.

- Enforce policies for privileged accounts and ensure least-privilege access principles.

Security, Compliance & Governance :

- Conduct regular reviews of IAM policies to ensure compliance with security standards and

regulatory requirements.

- Perform risk analysis on identity and access issues, and recommend improvements.

- Support audit and compliance activities with proper documentation and evidence collection.

Collaboration & Leadership :

- Work closely with cross-functional teams including Security, DevOps, Cloud, and Infrastructure to align IAM with business goals and security strategies.

- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior IAM engineers or technical staff.

- Act as a point of escalation for complex IAM-related issues and troubleshooting.

Technical Skills & Tools :

Mandatory :

- Expert-level knowledge of Okta and Auth0

- Hands-on experience with IAM workflows, identity federation, SSO, and MFA

- Familiarity with ForgeRock Access Management (AM) and Identity Management (IDM)

Additional Technical Proficiencies :

- Strong scripting skills : PowerShell, Node.js, or similar

- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps

- Knowledge of RESTful APIs and microservices-based architectures

- Experience with IAM monitoring, auditing, and reporting tools

Qualifications & Certifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent work experience)

Industry certifications such as :

- Okta Certified Professional / Administrator

- Auth0 Professional Certification

- ForgeRock Certified Specialist (optional but preferred)

- Strong understanding of Zero Trust Security frameworks
