Lead I - Software Engineering

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced SampleManager LIMS Consultant with 6+ years of hands-on experience to support the implementation, configuration, and optimization of SampleManager Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS). The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring the system meets laboratory needs and complies with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Requirements Gathering & Analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and document laboratory needs for sample management, data tracking, and regulatory compliance.

• System Configuration & Customization: Configure and customize SampleManager LIMS to align with specific laboratory workflows, including user roles, security settings, and data capture mechanisms.

• Integration with Instruments & Systems: Implement integrations between SampleManager and laboratory instruments, ERP, CRM, and other data systems to enable seamless data flow.

• Workflow Design & Automation: Design and implement automated workflows to streamline laboratory operations, enhance process efficiency, and reduce manual errors.

• Training & Support: Provide end-user training and post-implementation support to ensure effective usage, troubleshooting, and system maintenance.

• Compliance Management: Ensure all configurations and customizations are aligned with regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, GLP, GMP), including data integrity, security, and audit trail functionality.

• Data Management & Analytics: Assist in managing LIMS data and applying analytical tools to extract insights, track performance, and support decision-making.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Computer Science, or related field.

• 5+ years of experience with SampleManager LIMS implementation and support.

• Strong understanding of laboratory workflows and compliance requirements.

• Experience integrating LIMS with instruments and enterprise systems.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional team.
